Civil Litigation

With 25 years of a diverse civil litigation practice, Ms. McHale has handled the most basic slip and fall claims to multi-million dollar products liability and negligent security wrongful death cases. She has represented law enforcement officers in claims involving wrongful arrest, excessive force, search and seizure, Title VII sexual harassment, racial discrimination, 42 U.S.C. 1983, First Amendment and prisoner rights’ claims. Lawsuits involving civil rights provide an opportunity and ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in writing through Federal Court pleadings.Ms. McHale has represented municipalities and governmental agencies in claims involving these issues. She has assisted health professionals and personal trainers in drafting releases and service agreements for use with their clients. Ms. McHale also has experience in the claims bill process with the Florida Legislature. Because of her extensive trial experience, Ms. McHale is willing to assist trial counsel in the preparation for trial as she has developed techniques which effectively and efficiently prepare a case to verdict.
